I didn’t say cut tax I said reform the system away from regressive taxation on spending and Council Tax robbery.
Taxation on spending actually creates the lose lose situation of being avoided by minimising purchases.
To the point where the tesulting impact on economic growth exceeds the tax revenues obtained.
Also all forms of regressive tax imposes an unsustainable burden on those least able to afford it.
Including taxing already compromised low incomes twice.
Which leaves the laughable situation of rabidly anti fossil fuel use pro climate scam LibDems calling for petrol price reductions.
