Doctor wants me to start taking these as I’m apparently at risk of a heart attack / stroke in the next 5 years , cholesterol apparently , he did say the alternative is a healthy lifestyle plan , not sure what that could be as I already excersise , eat healthy due to diabetes
So anyone take statins , I’ve a appointment to see him but just wondered what it’s all about before lol get there , ta
As Wheel Nut says - if the doc is advising to take them you probbaly should follow his advice.
Im in the same boat. But have been avoiding taking them as they can cause muscle pains. Going down the road of a healthier lifestyle - but it’s hardder than i thought.
Might just take the statins and hope for the best,
