Hi all

I sent off my forms after the 15th Nov changes. Received my license back today and checked my entitlement. C has been added. Am I correct in thinking I have to email them to ask them to add the C+E entitlement then keep a copy of the email response? I won’t be doing any practical training for a while but looking to book my theory’s etc soon

I’m very surprised it doesn’t already include C+E.
If you only have C, then yes an email - It’s an auto-reply, so almost instant.

Did you check your driving licence provisional online ?

I sent my forms to Dvla on 20 Nov. Checked on line today, prov Cat C added and for some reason C1 plus E but no CE entitlement. I already have C1 plus E as passed my car test in 1984.

I thought all applications after 15 Nov would have provisional CE entitlement added.It looks as though I will have to email Dvla to have CE added even though I applied after 15 Nov.

Did you check your driving licence provisional online ?

Yes went on their entitlement checker and it only had me down for C. Anyway I emailed asking for the C+E to be added as instructed on the website and have printed out my original email and their automated response
