So after 13 years in the URTU, ?

Have you ever noticed any benefit in your salary negotiations or t&C’s ? Or have they literally never been involved?

As I said in my first paragraph, you need to be in a Union recognised firm to reap the benefits,.I ain’t…so that will answer your question.

I joined when I heard the firm I worked for at the time planned to cease trading, and we were facing redundancy in case I needed them.
As it turned out I did not,.as the firm was more than fair with me, but I kept up the membership in case I needed any help in the future.

I know this is going to feed the anti union crew, of which there are many on here :unamused: , I still maintain unions are a good thing,.and from history are responsible for most of the good aspects in our working life, but this was just a personal bad experience on my part with this outfit.
