There are at least a few people on these boards with “a bit of form”, I’ve certainly responded to more than one of them recently regarding how to check if their convictions are spent. It’s worth remembering that just because someone has a record that they’re not “all the same”, and not necessarily unpleasant or untrustworthy people: sometimes people just make mistakes.
I worked with a lad for several years after he’d gotten a seven year sentence for drugs, he was definitely a lot more pleasant and trustworthy than some other people at that firm who did not have his documented history.
