Depends on your definition of ‘ripped to pieces’. It’s clear many of you find the idea of people disagreeing with you horrifying,The irony.
Is this where you tell me you know best how I feel? Do you think I voluntarily go head to head with you (and others) so very often because I hate it and find it stressful? Do you think your opinions are that important in the grand scheme of things?
Opinions do tend to be important to oneself.
How you grade them is irrelevant.
