Just heard this morning that Richard Benney has passed last week after an illness, it was in 1973 that I stayed at Tresprison Farm, Helston while on two weeks of HGV and after passing my test stayed living & driving out of Cornwall for a year before returning home to Hampshire. We met at a YFC club dinner dance up here in Romsey and have remained in contact all this time nearly 50 years, remember Richard as a fun loving character with many lock ins in the pubs back in the day and the spoofing which took place within, RIP my friend Buzzer.
