If there’s nothing like that careful use of bottle jacks and lumps of wood should get it to the point where it’s own weight will take it the rest of the way but there’s usually somewhere you can get a hook on so it can be lifted.
Just beware that if the ram has completely failed in both directions then once it gets to that tipping point there won’t be anything to slow it’s fall forward so make sure there’s nothing in the cab that can fly about.
