EU rest compensation

Hello all, yet another driving hours related question

I’ve got myself in a pickle with compensating driving hours, as I come from buses and coaches where you never come close to any of this. I’m permanently tramping now on Class 1.

Please see the attached table of my work done

Do I need to compensate just the 13h41m from last week on top of my current 45 off, or do I also need to compensate the daily reductions like reducing down to 9 hours or working over 13 hours a day? I’ve had mixed responses and I’m trying to keep on top of things. I can’t find anything to suggest I need to compensate for any daily activity anywhere, but I have mixed messages being given to me.

Thanks all,

J

Reduced daily rests do not need compensation

Weekly rest was done in week 1 so that 13+ hours needs to be paid back in one go by midnight at the end of week 4

Thanks, this is what I originally thought but an old-hand TM who runs a daytime M-F job brought this confusion into the equation.
