Driver Hours

Been doing a lot of research but can’t find the answer. I’m currently training another driver so my card is on POA from 1830- approx 0530 with minimal work in between. I have a task to do tomorrow afternoon from 1330 when my card will go in for about 2 hours to drive/over work then not due in work until 1830 where it will be on POA again.

Just wondered where I would stand in regards to hours ?

It’ll be fine… right up until 0430 the next day when you will reach your maximum 15 hour spreadover time. You can’t even use the 21 hour double manning rule either.
Edit to add; I’m assuming that you haven’t already exceeded 13 hours work time 3 times this working week?

No definitely not as I’m mine is constantly on POA currently in slot two

POA only stops the clock in relation to the WTD, regardless of how much or how little time you spend on POA you still only have a maximum allowable working time of 15 hours daily.

Your training …
That’s work therefore your tacho should be on work not poa. Yes the tacho reverts to poa as soon as the vehicle moves so the way when training we’ve been advised is.
Put card in at start then remove card, then at the end re insert card and do a full manual entry .
You can’t be on poa if your actually working which is what your doing
