The company I work for as hired some trucks I brought one back to the yard and only then after getting back into the yard did someone from my transport office come out and lock out the tacho with the company card should this have been done by my company before I put my card in at the hire company’s yard and driving it back to are yard thanks.

To be honest I’m not sure but I doubt it will make any difference, either way I don’t see that’s it’s going to affect you in any way.
You’ve done your part and used your driver card correctly so it’s not your problem.
