If you have grandad rights because you passed your car test before 1997, you can do 35 hours of CPC courses, ie. 7 hours x 5 days, to get your initial CPC.
The actual requirement is to have held a category such as C1, C, C+E since before September 2009. The acquired rights C1 is one way, the other being passing a test prior to September 2009.
