Only if the driving school had applied to have the truck training approved for DCPC, there’s hoops to jump through and associated costs for them - about £250 for each approved course, so £1250 for a total of five days, though if you’re including test day, that would not get approved for DCPC.
It’s not common practice for driving schools to seek DCPC approval for practical driver training, but it can be done if they want to go through the hassle that goes with the process. I would have expected them to use it as a selling point if they’d gone to the bother of doing it.
