Hi all, I have just passed my Class 1 yesterday and chuffed to bits! I’ve held my Class 2 since 2014 and was just wondering if anyone could recommend any North West companies that are particularly helpful with in house training with us new starters?
Bit nervous of reversing but know it will just take time.

Hermes are usually good with newbies - give you tramping routes - depot to depot - agency for them is PPG plus you get a bonus for signing on.
you have haydock nearby too quite a few companies over there
the truth is its horses for courses (or whatever that saying is) - what one likes the other may not. i love long routes and dont mind unloading cages etc other people want short routes and be done.
you may need to just see for yourself - that initial hesitancy goes away after a week or two

I’m not from the area but from what I see on here there’s plenty of jobs in that area so it shouldn’t be too difficult to find something.
