I start my first job as a HGV Driver Monday.
Probably a silly question but what do I wear when I turn up and what do I take with me. I think I am just shadowing someone for first few days.
I am asking on here before I approach employer to not look like a total idiot.

If your shadowing then
Your driving license
Cpc card
Tacho card
Gloves
Safety shoes
Hi-vis.
Work clothes.
Pen and note pad.
Food and drink
and don’t forget yr ‘face covering’ …yes i know it’s Freedom Day…but lot’s of employers will be forcing people to carry on wearing them
