Yet more pain for next week....

Certas Bunker @ 160.75

Certas UKf @ 161.75

The rest are far too close for comfort @ 162something

At the moment the customers "seem" to be onside, but for how much longer ?

Retail has definitely taken a nose dive, which from previous experience is a sure sign of things to come

Same. Direct customers are currently accepting increases, 3pl and docks put the rates up when fuel price reached 130 ppl but are quiet currently so no chance of a rate increase

Definitely going to be interesting in the short term especially with certain sectors going QT.

I was talking to a driver from one of the big boys on the short sea box job yesterday at a very large 3pl and he said they had gone quiet, and I`ve got loaded very quickly over the weekend at a couple of manufacturing sites where you would expect a delay or two, which points to either they were kicking their heels or on job & finish

Crude oil price has decreased over the weekend, probably the wrong time for me to buy bulk :(

Hopefully the card price will come down a bit next week for you guys if crude stays the same.

I think this is why the customers are slightly relaxed about the whole thing atm, they have had the nod that it is going to come down at some stage.....There was a bloke on Radio 4 over the weekend who was talking about inflation cycles and how they can only go so far north before they start coming back down again, and he was quite confident that we were seeing an end in sight

Depends where you are in the food chain I suppose, but we are paying 52ppl on the pump ATM [selected sites only], I`m not sure whether its a mistake that has not been spotted, or its a carrot to use their derv [far too expensive], but we are taking advantage whilst we can...
