Remember when going scotch (if from the south), or going down to the smoke (if from the north), was long distance?
When Middle East work was readily available?.
When driving a 111 or F89 meant you were truly the king of the road?
Recall those companies long gone, where every day was an adventure?

What ever happened to those drivers you spent hours with.. where did they go? and recollect on those characters in the industry sadly no longer with us.
This forum is for us all to indulge in a little nostalgia and remember with rose coloured glasses how much better it was in the olden days

OK Chaps and Chapesses, it's time for a heads-up. :D

In my usual style... no names and no pack drill, but...

I've just fielded a very credible threat to sue TruckNet.

In order to avoid the threat, I've had to remove some content from a topic.

Please be reminded that it is acceptable to post pictures that YOU took.
It is also acceptable to post somebody else's pictures when you have specific permission to do so.

It is unacceptable and may lead to legal action against TruckNet OR YOU if you post any content that you have 'obtained' elsewhere without the owner knowing about it and giving their permission.

There's a bit more on this subject here:
