Caught this coming in the river today from the Black Middens carpark. The tide was quite low so the notorious Black Middens rocks are partially visible. In the past they’ve been the graveyard of lots of ships, as you can see the dredged channel isn’t exactly generous!
It’s hard to believe that 100,000 tonne supertankers negotiating that channel , in the days when the shipbuilding industry dominated the river. Regards Kev.0
