OilyI associate them with Velocette. Long after Brough Superior stopped making motor bikes their factory carried on doing engineering stuff in Basford, Nottingham. On my way home from work one day my bike broke down at the end of their street. I wheeled it round there and the magicians from within fixed it for me. No charge.
A chap from Kimberley who atttends various vintage events has a Brough Superior car garaged ‘somewhere’ along with many other vehicles and plant although he usually exhibits stationary engines and bygones.
