Use of Gas Oil (Red Diesel) in a fridge trailer

I know that there are new regulations regarding the use of Red Diesel coming in to place however I am unclear about the use of Red Diesel in fridge trailers, can anyone clarify as I couldn’t find anything on line.
Thanks

Basically, no, you can no longer use red in fridges, fork lifts, Terbergs etc.

Edit to add; from April

Its shaft the transport industry again, farmers, railway operators, forestry contractors, showmen operating fairground rides and generator plant can continue to use it. itinerant road menders can still use red to clean their brush and shovels.

When I worked in Germany they had already brought this in and were using white diesel on a generator set on my tank trailer, that’s well over 20 years ago.

Thanks Fellahs.

You can apply for the tax discount and prove(?) it went into plant/fridge/etc.

I will look in to that.
