Bit late to this. I retired 2.5 years ago and my guys were doing 75% UK, 25% Euro on the vans.
Some days were long, but plenty easy days. Paid 8 hours if you had a day when I didn’t have work. Always hotels, travel lodge type.
32k+. They’d be getting about 9% more if I was sti there.
I’d run a mile from that personally.
