First off it took a whole week to come back from the DVLA after doing it in person and sent electronically by the Post office to update my photo on my driving licence. Which was quite surprising it was that quick tbh.
Secondly my hgv renewal was due Oct this year as I turn 45 in Oct.
But my licence has now come back with hgv renewal Oct 2027, so assume the medical is now not required until i’m 49 as my photo needed updating before I was 45?
Licence expiry was 2/07/22
HGV renewal date was 29/10/22
My birthday is 30th Oct
New licence dates
28/06/27 for photo renewal and hgv renewal now.
So looks like I need to do medical and new photo again on in 5 years isntead of a medical this Oct and renew hgv and then renew photo in 10 years time as is normal for the photo renewal?
