After weeks of roadworks locally and delays from very badly positioned traffic lights while utilities are connected to a new luxury housing development, the gas main in the hole caught fire in the midlle of the night yesterday. Road now closed for a few days. Narrow winding lanes, hedges, low trees, dodgy road surfaces and crumbling edges, soft verges, cars and vans in a hurry, artics lost and coming the other way and up to 28 miles on the best, safest route for an artic to get round 800 yards. Times 4.
Build more houses.
Haven’t you read the latest govt memo yet from the bullshine dept (well spent £250k salaries of taxpayer funded propaganda there Rupert 
), to be trumpeted by their bought media.
We can double or treble the population in any given area (not the Cotswolds where we live don’t be silly), just across the way build untold numbers of warehouses each more than 1/4 mile long to handle the tat from our Chinese Utopian dream factories, plus the odd retail complex and a few other methods of entertainment for the masses fund gathering systems, so the plebs can contribute the rest of the tax from the income we intially allowed them to keep after PAYE and NI and the Pension contributions we’ll steal in a few years time (all of the above on prime agricultural green land) and all the traffic that results can easily manage on the existing roads.
Not as there’ll be that many cars in the future as we gradually grind each successive layer of social status, apart from the select ones, into penury.
Just be quiet there’s a good pleb and vote for us every 4 or 5 years, course might slip an election in sooner if we think our friends in the media have brainwashed enough of the fools into actually believing our regime is less dangerous than the other lot and can be trusted to oversee the accelerating decline and utter ruination of the country better than them.

While was sat for hours in standing traffic yesterday eastbound from the west country on the unfit for purpose A303 looking at the miles of empty country around with no decent alternative routes.
Well said Juddian. On our infrequent visits to the old dart we probably notice the changes even more than you lot that live there. I for one can’t understand how the NHS can be in such a state when you have so many doctors etc coming in to the country.

Basically the NHS is a government controlled health care rationing scam to save the employers the cash needed to fund the health care of their employees.
The doctors wage costs are a given.
But the government can still ration everything else.Which means that operating theatres etc are closed and ITU provision is rationed.While the doctors are employed to do nothing other than to write off their patients as palliative.
With the win win for the government of saving pension and disability payments.
