Settle an argument please. Smartcards have to be downloaded every 28 days , tacho heads used to be every 56 but has now been extended to every 90 days is this correct? Mate reckons it’s still every 56 days for the head.
Yes 90 days for the tacho head. 28 days for card as normal.

A driver card is probably capable of holding up to a years worth of driving data
If a smart card is a digi card , I download my digi card at the beginning & end of shift , not bothered what’s legal , it only takes a few secs
