Why dont they even have a chassis ? and ill wager they still run on cross ply tyres

Did the driver notice anything wrong when doing the walk round checks at the end of his shift?

How come the brakes didn’t apply on the unit or is there a different set up in the States ?

We’ve all had days like that !!

The yellow button is just for tractor parking brake, pushed in while driving, pull out to apply tractor parking brakes only not trailer as well.

Red one just for trailer is also pushed in while driving but when our super trucker pulled the tandems out it would have snapped the airlines and with air just rushing out the red button would have popped out to stop air going to the trailer and emptying the air tanks.

Same here except mostly, when the park brake is applied, the trailer is automatically isolated. A pain in the ■■■■ if you use the park brake at red lights etc., requiring both buttons to be pushed to release.

The driver had Bogie Wonderland on the radio :grimacing:

There’s an alarming amount of “Bell Bollards” around London roads these days…

What purpose do these serve - other than ripping the back axles off artic trailers■■?

As for calling them “Pavement Protectors”… Who gets protected on the pavement from a car whacking one of these, and then overturning?
…The car could randomly roll anywhere…!
