R.I.P. Cumberland John.It is with deep sadness I'm posting on behalf of John's family to let you all know that after a long illness John Fawcett aka "Cumberland John" sadly passed away peacefully at home in the early hours of this morning.
John, who many of you will know, drove for W & J Riding for many years was one of the old school of the haulage industry and a true legend . I will post details of his funeral in due course. Last edited by moomooland on Tue Jan 18, 2022 5:16 pm, edited 2 times in total.
Re: R.I.P. Cumberland John.I recognise the face from various cafés and also loading at the infamous South Area stores in ICI Wilton in the 80’s. RIP fella.
