Contract's

edd1974:
Conversation came up other day between me and fellow driver.
Basiaclly we have both been there 3 years or so. Obv signed a contract when we started.
Since then we have had a couple of pay raises and an attendance bonus scheme introduced
All we had was email /maybe a memo telling us about pay raises and bonuses.

Anyway story short other fella reckons our countracts arn,t worth the paper there written on .now Due to a pay rise it makes our contracts worthless.

We have never been told out terms and conditions are changing. Just a pay rise. But he seems to think doesn’t matter .

Is he right? I can’t see it as all we’ve had is a pay rise. Doesn’t cahnge the t&cs

There isn’t any requirement for a company to give you a full new contract when the employment changes. However what you should have is a letter of amendment to your contract stating the new changes of salary or working hours or whatever the changes are I believe that is the case.

So yes the terms and conditions of the old contract should still apply including any changes.
