We’ve just recieved some brand new units.
Got into mine on Tuesday, did the usual get myself comfortable, wanted to change the mirror position, passenger side,
using the buttons on the driver side
NOTHING, no movement at all on either mirror !
So went to bring down the window to effect a manual change, again from my side
and again NOTHING, window didn’t move.
jumped over to the other side and again all the buttons on the other door didn’t work.
So go to the workshop to report a fault, maybe a blown fuse or something,
mechanic said oh yeah we know, didn’t transport tell you, there’s a fault because of a missing part/relay.
Apparently these units have been sent out missing a relay, (manufactured in China) to be returned when they arrive !!!
It was a case of, take them as they are or don’t have them !!
Mechanic said, just change the position a la olde mode ?
WHAT ■■?
Glad it wasn’t something important !!!
Anything like this happened in the UK ?
