Now I haven’t seen the Terms for all these big £££ sign up bonus, but I’m guessing they will be a catch, eg payable after 6-9months, which is after Christmas, I’m guessing that lots of those who go after the sign up bonus will be out the door, before they get paid the bonus…

No you aren’t.
Reading into the DHL £1500 one, the first £500 is added to your first pay packet, £1000 after 6 months of employment.
Also doesn’t seem too bad wages if you get on the Dunelm contract. Just under £37k for 48 hrs Mon-Fri it says.
Sure there are worse jobs around at the moment.
