A Town called Malice

1970’s nails it for me but, like 1960’s, the decent 80’s music was exceptional and Tears for Fears and Level 42 etc were class acts.

The official video of West End Girls defines the 80’s to me.Even lesser groups like Curiosity Killed the Cat weren’t half bad either.

But think Motown and the records by female singers like Dusty and Petula Clark and Sandy Shaw etc among other Brit groups from Beatles to Stones gave 1960’s music the edge over 80’s.
