BoE rate rise

Well the Bank of England has raised the interest rates again to 4.25% :open_mouth:
A lot of home owners are gonna start sweating about their mortgage now

To prop up against a threat that shouldn’t be too bad, that is if the below is in place, but the question is… is it ?

Bank stress tests were introduced in 2008-2009 in response to the financial crisis. International financial authorities required all banks of a certain size to undergo annual stress testing to determine whether they have enough capital to withstand an economic or financial crisis and to publish the results.

The bottom line is that the Federal Reserve increased US interest rates by 0.25% yesterday and we are pretty much obliged to follow suit otherwise the £ will lose value against the $ meaning that every world commodity which is priced in dollars, oil, gas, sugar, coffee, wheat, everything basically will increase in price leading to further inflationary pressure.
