Just to be clear:
You want to go on an “off the beaten track holiday”, and are looking for a company with an actual office near Maidstone?
Not a holiday off the beaten track near Maidstone? (Can`t be many unbeaten tracks there, 
can there?)
Obviously loads of companies on-line, and fewer in town as time goes on. Wouldn`t those in towns need to have lots of clients to survive, and deal with “normal” holidays?
I would think that you`d do better to decide what type of holiday you want and then look for a specialist on-line? See if any of us have taken similar hols with recommendations?

long story but i had booked to go to vietnam cambodia and laos. Last time i went to vietnam i organised it all myself and had a fantastic time so this time i wanted somthing more structured as there is lots i want to see and just didnt have the time last time.
Needless to say the holiday has been cancled due to lack of numbers no issues with flights no sorry issues with the itinery oh no sorry issues with the sun rising in the east etc etc you get the picture. Hence my reason for asking for recomendations of decent companies

You could try Wild Frontiers. They normally do fantastic tours in very off the beaten track places in far-flung destinations. However, during and after the pandemic they added a small number of UK trips to their illustrious list. PS they’re very good! 
ok before i book this thing has anyone heard of trail finders? They seem to have shops all over the place.

I think everyone has heard of trail finders.
I have no experience of them but apparently they came top in terms of refunding customers during covid cancellations. (When everyone else just held onto deposits)
