Hindsight tells me it was only because I was a school kid that I thought they were!We just need Yuill & Dodds to get some ballasted 8 wheel Scanias with rail wheels on now to do a bit of strike busting.

I remember the “Cutbacks” in the late 70’s to grammar schools, and the push to over-fund “comps”.
Two or three of us “sharing a book” was commonplace.
