Prince Andrew

Never liked him, his upoer class snobbery and pomposity belongs to a previous century in the Royal family.
I know he did some heroic stunts as a helicopter pilot in the Falklands, but wtf has he done since then of any use…except ponce off the country on free for all jollies as an entitlement.

Looks like the heat is back on him, and the net is closing in on him, unless he can be bailed out by his mother.
I would not wish those type of accusations on anybody if they are innocent, but I do admit to feeling little sympathy to this guy.
What do rest of you think.

I met him a few times in the late 70s, early 80s.
Always seemed a decent guy and just one of the lads.
Is he guilty of what this woman is accusing him of?
I’ll reserve judgement until and if all the evidence is made public.
I’m patriotic and a royalist, I currently only feel sorry for one member of the Royal family and that’s the Queen, she surely doesn’t need or deserve this, she’s had a rough year.

Not bothered about the Royals, I am not a Monarchist. Obviously I have no idea what really happened here, “He says, she says” situation.

However I dislike the US hypocrisy here. The American lawyers want Andrew back in the US to answer these allegations but the US Government spirited Anne Sacoolas, a suspect in a dangerous driving charge (resulting in the death of Harry Dunn, a 19 year old Brit biker), out of the UK and refuse what would be a legal extradition attempt to get her back here to let justice follow its course. The US lawyers in general don’t seem bothered by that and the UK Government have not done much to help the UK family either. Check it out, it’s disgusting and casts a shadow on both governments.

He may have been different in the 70s/80s, who knows…who cares, but since those times, he has had some bad press by a lot of the lackies, servants and staff in Royal households as being a complete and utter arse towards them, and spent most of his life leading a state funded ■■■■■■■ lifestyle, where he thought he could do whatever tf he liked…allegedlly…yeh I’m jealous.
Even that BBC Royal correspondent Jenny Bond who is a complete royal brown noser has said she had little time for him because of his upper class pomposity.

I consider myself also patriotic, and I don’t think you need to be a Royalist to be so.
I respect the Queen, not to keen on Charles he also comes across as just arriving from the 30s by his attitude to things.
I do have time for (not that they will care btw  ) Princess Anne who has done a lot of good work,.and I respect her for not involving her kids in getting Royal titles with all the money titles bring (unlike Andrew and his 2 parasitic kids)
I also have time for William and his modern approach to the job that has been forced on him.
Harry? good on him for putting his Mrs first, (however unpopular she may or may not be with everybody) and walking away from the whole cluster ■■■■ to make his own living.

Prince Edward?..Where do I start…what exactly is the point of him?
A complete waste of skin…that just about sums him up in one sentence.

So basically I ain’t a Royalist as such, I respect the ones I mentioned, but the rest are a load of freeloaders and spongers who’s lavish lifestyle is funded partly by taxes that I have to pay. :imp:

Fancy a pint?

Well , looks like he’s paid her out to keep quiet.

What did you expect?..reminiscent of that pervert and paedo Michael ■■■■ Jackson, solve a problem by throwing money at it.
These ■■■■ s are fireproof, there is no way a member if the Brit Royal family would face court in the US.
Arrogant ■■■■ slime ball weasel gets away with it,.and ironically (and insultingly) donates a stash of cash to child abuse charities.
Personally I hate the pompous bar steward.
You can guarantee that he will not act with an iota of humility after this, it shows just how arrogant he is.

So , she got abused by these vile creatures but she’ll accept dirty money from them/him and keep quiet …she just as guilty as them/him then for allowing him to get away with it.

He wasn’t facing any criminal charges it was a civil case that he was facing.
Maybe his life might have turned out deservedly better if he had been fixed up with Di Spencer rather than his hypocrite cradle snatching Savile liking Brother.

I’ve no love for her nor sticking up for her, but the money she accepted was to her charity.
You never know what the hell is going on in the dark background, , she was probably leaned on by big blokes in black suits and shades,.with the threat of death and harm to her and her amily if she took this further, such as her ending up crashing in a tunnel sometime in the next five years when she is least expecting it…aka having the ■■■■ scared out of her in a big way.
.
Maybe a fantastic life pension as a sweetener on top.
Would you risk it or keep quiet…I’d be going for option 2 personally.

He is a rat. It is a scandal that he has bought his way out of this situation, and will now seek to rehabilitate himself through slick PR.
As for saying the money will go to her ‘charity’, and not her. Charities these days are just another front for people to milk the gullible. One after another we find the lions share of donations going on ‘admin’, and not for the cause. Seems Epstein was the only one with any honour in the end.

He’s never met me either, think I’ll get a few bob?

Tell you what, if ever I was accused of something like this,.and I was 100% innocent of the accusation as he says he is.,.I would not be AVOIDING a court case,.I’d be INSISTING on one , to clear my name.,…and then seeking compo ftom the third party, not paying cash to them. :open_mouth:

So why is he not doing that??
(Rhetorical question btw, I think we can all figure out why)

Anybody else persuaded today that it is time to lose the Monarchy?

A Royalist spokesman was on 5 live this morning telling us that the Queen costs us much less in this country than the French President costs France,.and asked which country is getting the better value…
Nothing against the Queen but my answer would be France.,because Macron’s family members cousins and distant relatives and in laws etc, have not got their snouts in the same trough as it is in the UK.

Let’s just say that their dodgy ideas of out on the pull go back a lot further than anything that Andy might have done.

Define what you mean by ‘this’.
Bearing in mind that if he’d been accused of a criminal act with sufficient evidence he’d have no choice in walking away or defending himself.

Not that I condone trafficking or exploitation in any way, but I can’t imagine that any of these girls raised much objection at the time to being escorted to lavish parties, meeting rich, famous and influential people and (presumably) being showered with expensive gifts in return for ■■■■■■ favours. Beats a bunk-up with the kid down the street in the back of his mum’s stationwagon after a McDonalds and a Pepsi.
And yes, I do think that paying someone off out of court amounts to an admission of at least some degree of guilt.
Andrew should not be able to return to duties on behalf of the Royal Family, in my opinion.

Not in a civil court case.
While Criminal court it would just get the defendant in deeper zb.
So why didn’t the law make it a criminal court case.

And Macron is actually performing a function. The Queen?
