DS Smith are offering premium rates via agency for drivers - as they go out on strike.
Trouble is, that other more enlightened companies - will have solidly booked drivers in advance for “Christmas Pressure”, meaning that they are going to have to scrape the bottom of the barrel a bit to get enough bums-on-seats at Dark Satanic Smith…

Since mortgage rates have yet to fall back - it is irrelevant what the “headline” rate of inflation is - merely the sky-high overheads now presenting themselves as monthly bills.

Gee Thanks, Sunak, Boris, Et Al. We COULD have let “Putin Win” and avoided all this - but no.
We once chopped a king’s head off in this country for “inviting a foreign power to invade us” among other crimes like “Being a public enemy”.
I wonder if the Left will help us dismember the Tories at the next election - without voting for any anti-Brexit party such as Labour and and the Libdems to achieve such?
My suggestion is for people to vote Labour where Labour are first or second in the polls (if you feel you must…) but vote Reform Party where Labour are Third place or lower in the polls…
