Agreed. Cameron saw that many Tory voters were going over to UKIP or whatever. Maybe not enough for UKIP to win many seats, but enough to split the vote and allow Labour or Liberal in. He needed a referendum to shut Farage up. He didn`t ever believe that Brexit would be good for the country. He put his party, and his wish for power, before his country.
