I’ve just put a tenner on Ireland finishing inside the top ten at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. The bookies (Bet 365) were offering 500/1 against! I think they screwed up tbh as the odds have plummeted and last time I looked were still 50/1. No such thing as a sure bet, but if I was a gambling man……….

Got the same odds on Keir Starmer taking over from Corbyn, and of course got the 40/1 for “Corbyn to win between 251 and 299 seats” in the 2017 election as well, bet placed when the press were talking about Labour going down to double figures…
Ukraine is supposedly hosting this ESC, and a new money laundering channel needs to be opened, given this opportunity - as we’ve all heard it from Zelensky - that all the money and weapons we’ve given him so far - hasn’t made a jot of difference to the Russian War Machine…
It’s a shame that our parliamentarians were easier to talk into supporting “throwing away UK cash” in this particular direction, even easier than Blair talked Parliament into murdering over 100,000 Iraqi civilians…
