Is this the scenario we’re going to be looking at post 2030 in the UK? BMW, VW, Toyota, Honda have millions of cars sat in dealerships in China struggling to sell them due to new Chinese emission laws.
youtube.com/watch?v=81H3gZ56_vwWhere’s the connection.
You seem to be strangely all about doing what’s good for China.
Dealerships are struggling to sell EVs and that will remain the case while the choice of ICE exists.
Bearing in mind that the 2030 cut off only applies to new registrations as of that date and it doesn’t actually outlaw alternative fuelled ICE vehicles from that point.
Why are you so keen on handing over our transport security, in the form of EVs, which obviously means that crippling the country’s electricity supply also cripples it’s transport infrastructure.
As opposed to ICE which can switch between zero carbon hydrogen or independent fossil fuel as and if required.Assume much? I watch the global markets not just the EU/UK, It’s a globalized world, what happens in one place has a ripple effort around the globe.I deal in facts not the personal opinion you roll out on every comment to suit your agenda. The sales of EV’s worldwide are going up YOY & have been doing so for years.counterpointresearch.com/gl … s-q4-2022/
Skoda announced just this morning said it may have to close their plant with a loss of 3000 jobs if Euro 7 comes into force. It’s happening all over the world whether you like it or I like it. It’s fact not my opinion. europe.autonews.com/environment … 2-headline
VW is in a huge p[rice war because it’s going to be stuck with hundreds of thousands of ICE vehicles that will no longer pass Chinese emissions there, We’ll be running out of old airfields to store them all soon. proactiveinvestors.co.uk/co … 09371.html
The fact that ICE based manufacturers prefer to close shop than make the wholesale switch to EVs makes your case that demand for EVs is even there let alone increasing how.
The civilised western economies can’t compete with a slave labour based command economy who would have thought it.
Globalisation run by the CCP doing what’s good for the CCP is good for us how.
