New Maccy D tv advert

Anybody seen it? :unamused:
If Maccy D’s are trying to encourage truckers as customers, they’ll need to sort out their parking facilities,.and remove their ‘No HGV’ signs.

At least they’ve depicted a trucker as a typical white middle aged bloke,.I would have thought that with the current tv advert trends of racially mixed couples and gay couples, I would have expected a black non binary with a disability sat behind a specially adapted unit.
3 other things, what’s with the fancy shirts …and ffs, did they have to have him driving in a hi viz idiot vest? :unamused: …and what would his neighbours say about him parking his unit outside his gaff on the leafy estate.
Maybe I’m overthinking it.

Not so new in aussie land 2020 they put a dog with him in this one

McDonald’s has tapped into the role its restaurants play in Australians’ lives in its latest brand push from DBB Sydney.

The ad, titled ‘Almost Home’, follows the journey of a truck driver and his beloved dog, Louie, as they travel across the country and home to their family. The campaign captures the insight that no matter where you go, there will always be a Macca’s.
