That’s great news, The tides are very predictable & we have some of the strongest tides in the world around blighty. It will create lots of good jobs too. Scotland will become the Saudi Arabia of wind & tidal energy up there.
Better tell Nicola that it’s a UK-wide scheme, not just a Scottish one, seeing as she’s declared her intention to continue her quest for independence. Might not get the funding if Scotland goes it alone.
But would retain any benefits accrued presumably. £20 million is not that much to find annually so, if it is such a good risk, may well be worth pursuing simply as a Scottish project.
