Will Brexit Mean The End Of The Euro Pallet?

Hey, Brexit, I want Belxit
But the throught is, the golden thirty after war will never never come back. :frowning:
All our big factories are closed and went to cheap countries, import taxes are gone, the game of assembling here otherwise you pay import duty are long long gone.
We lost first our coal industrie, thereafter, textils, steel and now Transport, and it goes on.
All we got for, are 2 million profiteers, spongers of the state and a lot of crime. :frowning:

T Forms…Queueing on the stairs. Does that mean that we can T Form our Cherry again.
We managed before and we will manage again. I might even consider moving back to the UK.
Get our identity back. Union Jack not Union Flag.

I’ll just be glad when Brexit means I won’t have to hear that word anymore! Franky.

it’s alright they only gonna adopt all the euro rules into british law

Unless you are of a certain age or over, some people will be scratching their heads thinking what on earth does this mean!!

Sunday and Tuesday nights were always a nightmare. :open_mouth:

There’s still a few of us of that age here!

So there are!

At least the queue on the stairs was back in a time when the job was worth doing and we were paid properly for doing it.

Thinking back on it I remember taking a young lady out on a European trip and having her join me in the queue (just to show how hard our job was) and when we got back in the truck she said that she had never seen so many Cashmere sweaters in her life!

Already have, matey. And I can’t imagine that they’ll repeal many of them, seeing that they were all foisted upon us “for our own good”.

Will Brexit mean that we won’t see as many half empty Tizer bottles scattered around the British countryside, I hope so.

I don’t mean to sound all doom and gloom - but anyone who thinks there will be less compliance / elf n’ safety / red tape / I’s to dot and T’s to cross is dreaming - it’s all big business, a big money spinner. And we’re all paying…

Brexit could see a reduction from the 44 tonne weight limit or a return of its original restriction (then under EU derogation) that limited 44 tonne operation here to container vehicles travelling to or from a port or designated inland rail-freight terminal.

I think it’s a disaster that we’re leaving the EU and also I can’t see any reason why the 44 tonne limit should be reduced. But Brexit is a container-load of unintended consequences waiting for the seals to be broken and who knows what could happen?

EU regs are 40t max.In which case how do you reach the conclusion that Brexit means a reduction in the 44 t limit ?.When there’s nothing in EU rules which wouldn’t already have allowed the UK government to apply 40t gross max and 44t inter modal only. Or for that matter where has such a change been mentioned in the Brexit manifesto ?.As for what ‘could happen’ at least we know that we’ve got more democratic control over how we’re governed.

Meanwhile unfortunately I think there’s more chance that the remainers will win out. With May’s probable plan all along being delaying Brexit.Based on the gamble that she’ll then call a snap election in May and the Conservatives will probably lose their small majority and become a minority government. At which point shell just let the LabLibSNP majority ignore the referendum vote and sign us back into the EU in all but name ( EEA ).With the Cons being able to deflect the blame for ignoring the Brexit manifesto and mandate on to them. :unamused: :frowning: Hopefully I’m wrong in that regard.
