What a great country to live in UK Re Brexit

No it just proves that the fuel tax breaks, enjoyed by the air transport industry and as part of that the EU’s obviously selectively applied immunity from the global warmist agenda when it suits it,can predictably offset Iberia’s probable ongoing losses. With the help of the ongoing draining of BA’s funds. Also, unlike the previous figures, those provided in Luke’s example conveniently no longer seem to show the respective seperate accounts of BA v Iberia within the group for ‘some’ reason.Nor can any figures now seem to be easy to find from any source in that regard. :unamused:

Seems to just confirm more of the same British workers being stitched up to subsidise other less profitable foreign European operations.Nor does it seem to provide any figures related specifically to Iberia ?.In which case ditching Europe and BA looking after itself again on the basis of money earn’t here stays here is bad for Brit workers how ?.Although ironically the muppets that run the unions obviously prefer the status quo and contradiction in moaning about Brit workers being stitched up.While at the same time supporting the Europhile agenda that’s doing it.Not to mention the issue of,like rail, the unions supporting the air transport industry’s fuel tax subsidy v road, which explains any profitability figures across the board more than anything else. While at the same time being happy to see road transport workers stitched up in that regard on the bs grounds of ‘global warming’. :unamused:

Being a flag waving patriot Id have thought you’d be proud of the BA led IAG. If BA hadnt setup IAG you can be sure that plenty of airlines would have been looking at BA as a tasty asset to add to their group. As it is BA Has created an impressive group of companies. As for rest of your post, I don’t really know what you’re trying to say, it’s rambling nonsense even by your standards

No as ‘flag waving patriot’ I’d prefer BA to be protected against foreign takeover and to keep it’s already borderline profitability at home to invest in its own workforce.IE not much point in having a ‘National’ airline,if it’s anything but ‘National’ and not run in the ‘national’ interest of its own workforce. The rest was a clear dig at the blatant hypocrisy of BA’s union/s in that regard. In that it’s clear that the profitability and with it the fortunes of the workforce of all modes of transport is based on fuel costs and minimising those costs at the point of supply. Not to mention Unite’s support of the situation of Brit cash being thrown at basket case European economies like confetti at the expense of our own. :unamused:

Well Scotland voted to stay, and we export a fair amount of whisky.
