So if a driver had a post 97 category B and a category BE licence could he legally tow a 3.500kg sprinter with a 2.000kg trailer (total GVW 5.300kg) if the sprinters capability was 6.000kg (as stated on the plate under the drivers seat)?
Said driver could drive any 3.5 tonne vehicle up to the gtw be it as above or 3.5 plus 3.5 at 7 tonne gtw ,however you can’t just book a test in your own motor any more iirc .
,he then commented about not having a rear view mirror and a curtain over the rear window ,his reply was what do you think happens when Iam loaded or driving the one without a back window
