Funnily enough my to Tom 6200 insists on sending me on the M1 North at 29A from Markham Vale to go north one junction and trun round to go south. Does it nearly every day. Only use it fro arrival times and live traffic mostly. Yet the other day it sent me the right way across the roundabout and turn left and right at roundabout to get onto southbound slip road. Then the very next day back to going north one junction.
Talk about odd.

Got a cheap Chinese one.Has done a good job so far no problems .
Theyre probably all cheap Chinese ones, its just the name on the box that dictates the price.
Having owned a cheap Chinese one that did the job well enough and almost as good as my to Tom I can say.
The Tom tom is build quality is much better and a genuine product running genuine licensed maps etc as for the Chinese ones I’d imagine that are hooky maps and software. Things like a better touch screen etc with a branded make.
Not to say the Tom tom is perfect mind.
