Remember you must also get a dropper for it to work in your truck!
Maplins have a sale on droppers at the moment! maybe worth a look, or try their website!

The TomTom carkit is both 12V and 24V.

can you run autoroute on a PDA

what I’m looking for is a way of working out milages when I’m stood in a market with a customer asking “How much to take these cattle/sheep home”

TomTom 3 allows you to manually enter a start point, use the current GPS position or use the last known location as a start point when you’ve got the PDA unhooked from the GPS receiver. It’ll then work out a route and display it with mileage and time to do it. So you could have a PDA in your top pocket, whip it out and give them an answer in a few seconds. Best part of the TT3 kit is that you can easily take it out of the lorry and use it in the car.
