Morning Dirty dan,
Could you tell me why, in your photo of Eddie Stobart, you have a dead parachutist with a β– β– β– β– β–  sticking out of his back pack hanging in you windscreen. Harvey

Hi Harvey!

Well looks kinda strange and i had to look at it to. The pics are actually two differnt pics.I could not get it my self i aint got nothing in my windscreen. The first is in my truck and the second pic is in our hooklift/crane truck and the regular driver is a hunter. So its a moose hanging there. But you got me wondering there for a minute… Ill try to get a pic of it when i can.

Purposeful looking Austrian F89. Robert

My first allocated motor at Christian Salvesens Droitwich Spa depot.
i have posted this before on the Salvesen thread, but that seems to have been dormant for over 12 months.
This is a deservedly popular forum so i,ll start again.
As i pointed out previously, the cab roof on this Clydesdale was split in a couple of places due the number of previous drivers standing on it to check the fridge engine oil level.
Most of the other 4 wheelers had luton type front ends rendering the trampling of boots impossible.
The roof lining had started to droop down due to getting wet when it rained etc.
This wasnt my first encounter with Bathgate cabbed Clydesdales so the tendency to roll on corners came as no surprise.
They wasnt bad machines though.

Hi Oily, H D Fraser have used that unique but apt logo on the front of their wagons for as long as I can remember, they always looked good to.These days an M series ERF reminds folk of a well known Black Isle haulier owned by Hamish Fraser (no relation apparently) from Inverness seen here taking part in the Tain Vintage Rally in 2017.
Cheers, Leyland 600.

How is it that what looks like a bonneted DAF bears an AEC logo? Could it be powered by an AEC engine? Weren’t DAF trucks powered by engines built under Leyland licence?
