I know nothing about Zafiras other than they have a tendency to self combust.
That’ll be the Zafira ‘B’ of which I have one.
It’s been in for both recalls and I haven’t suffered any issues whatsoever.

I didn’t. 
Replaced countless DMF’s in my previous life as a technician when I first left school… they vary widely on how long they last and made many warranty repairs. I’d never consider replacing a clutch without DMF as it only takes a very tiny amount of wear in them and they very quickly fail and I’ve also had the pleasure of dealing with the consequences of DMFs that had completely failed in motion. I personally convert my cars to SMF if it hasn’t already got one as I find them much better also much less expensive you just have to remember to get the correct friction plate on any subsequent clutch replacements and it’ll be absolutely fine [emoji846]
