If you were acquainted with our local Atki Dealer Principal in the 70’s he was the last idiot you would want a direct line to EW !! Here is a shot of the later office I occupied in the 90’s which was somewhat of an improvement over the previous one !

Foden for me i had an ERF for a few days and didnt like it but the Foden i drove was very good As for Atkis my dad got a brand new one when i was a kid and he wasnt impressed thats after coming off a '59 Mk V MM8 and trailer with the 9.6 in and a 5 speed box 38mph :wink:

Well to even things up. Dennis 1 saturday morning on the way back from Trinity paper mill at Ramsbottom i was with my dad following a loaded trailer on the M62 near where the farm sits in the middle and we noticed it had a soft tyre.So my dad put his foot down in the Mandator and barely got up side of what turned out to be an Atki with a 240 Gardner in it . He told the driver who wasnt too concerned and the Atki was off we couldnt keep up with him and we were empty
