Are the agencies dry where you are??

I left my last job nearly six months ago and signed with an agency a month later.

Till now I have had just over two weeks worth of work and one of those was a full week. They claim its cos I haven't got my digi card but I am just not convinced.

Is it a nationwide slowdown??

notice you are in scunny, i hear its a bit of an ares of a place but there is nisa, also the old nisa (bibbys) is looking for drivers there is a big banner on the fence !

Yeah, I understand Bibby is recruiting but... :lol:

a) Newer motors with Digi and I am just waiting for mine.

b) Most are C+E. I'm not sure how many rigids there are.

I'm off on the hunt tomorrow anyway so I'll have a looksee.

Class 1, ADR, Digi, Hiab, FLT.....

And filling out application forms for tesco/asda/sainsbury/iceland home delivery!!!

WTF haven't you got it? Would you expect a plumber to come to your house to do a job without their tools? That's basically what you're doing by not having one.

They're right for the most part. Most fleets are now at the point where they have in the last 18 months or will be renewing their wagons as per the terms of their lease. I rarely get a non digi wagon nowadays.
And if a company has a mix of digi and non digi wagons, you still need a card as there's no guarantee you would get a non digi wagon.

funny you should say that, I've just been offered a job on a rigid with HIAB, :lol:

And sods law - its on an X plate with old style tacho. :roll:
