So it looks like I’m gonna be running out of DPW for the next few months. I’ve done the “training” and got the certificate!

Trouble is that the training doesn’t explain the practical things …

I can think of 4 likely reasons for a visit (leaving comedy answers aside!):

  1. Collect loaded box
  2. Deliver loaded box
  3. Collect empty box
  4. Return empty box

So my question is: For which of the above do I need to go into Pre-Gate?

Unless you need to do your own VBS

Many boxes for USA go via pregate, OOG and also ADR.

Also who you work for will determine wether you have to go via pregate.

We get slotted remotely but still have to go via pregate for some boxes as stated above…

Sounds like there’s too many variables to make it worth trying to get my head around the process at this point.

I’m sure all will become clear in due course :open_mouth:

At least I will have some idea of the questions to ask on day 1 :sunglasses:

Unless your told otherwise always go to pregate before collecting your loaded or empty container
